Post subject: Dyno'd the Integra at school today

130.22 HP @ 6300
120.27 TQ @ 5430
i wasnt expecting that much torque. i figured the horsepower would be around there. Everyone is saying that getting off my ass and getting a header will wake the hp number up. i'll have to find out.
now - anyone want to try to explain this crazy ass tq curve to me? i have no idea wtf happened here. i think the MSD played a pretty serious part in having two flat lines

Yeah, that torque curve is like a roller coaster ride. I'm pretty sure that the MSD is responsible for that. Looks like there are some small spikes up top too. As for the actual peak numbers, I'd have to say you're not doing too bad. Get yourself a good header and a tune and you should pull out some real good numbers, especially up top horsepower with that v-tech. _________________ Call me Paul

what was the a/f ratio throughout the dyno pull? do you have the car tuned? _________________ rw

i didnt have the option to do A/F
since the dyno usually sees Carbed cars, its easier to go up or down in jet sizing than it is to run AF, or at least thats the explanation i got.
I didnt have the car tuned. when i get a few more things, i plan on having that done. _________________ -Steven

Looking back at past posts on the neon forum, there was talk a while back about a "burp" in the torque curve because of the stock header design. Your curve is a lot more eratic than that tho. Can you notice it during WOT driving? _________________ Call me Paul
